About Us
Introduction...
Hi! I'm Kim (21) and I live in San Diego, California. I have always had a huge passion for jewelry and fashion, stemming from dressing my Polly Pockets or Bratz dolls. During my junior year of high school, I began exploring the fashion realm a bit more and fell in love with adding jewelry to every outfit I created. Since then, I have always wanted to create my very own jewelry pieces. I had a vision of wanting to create something unique: statement pieces. I started Heart Peopl in order to do just that. It has always been a dream of mine to create things that will become valuable in someone else's life. I hope that Heart Peopl jewelry becomes a small, but special part of your life!
Where we got the name...
As a kid, I drew a lot. I loved the art of watercoloring the most, but a recurring theme in all of my art was "heart people." I loved hearts and I drew stick figures, so I decided to combine them both and create a person with a heart shaped head. I absolutely loved it. Recently, when I was brainstorming ideas for my brand name, I remembered those stick figures I loved to draw and their significance in my art. Heart Peopl was created from my childhood and all of the memories. Heart Peopl symbolizes youth and creativity. As adults, we tend to focus on "adult things" and forget that there is still a child deep within us.
Heart Peopl aspires to bring out that side of people and allow them to explore their inner child.
What we hope to accomplish...
Everyone should comfortably shop at Heart Peopl. We hope to accomplish inclusivity to every community. We will do this by representing cultures with love and acceptance and learning to create pieces that everyone can wear.
Our sizes are a very important aspect to inclusivity. It is important for us to create expansive sizes for everyone to enjoy. Currently our size range is from sizes 1-15½ (US). Once we get up and going for some time, we will be adding more sizes. If you have a specific request for more sizing options, please let us know in our "Contact" page.
